PARADISUS PUNTA CANA RESORT,
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
TANNIA + MYRON

When Tannia contacted me about celebrating her wedding in Punta Cana, I was so excited, but I never expected the fantastic journey I was about to take.

It all started with their engagement session in Half Moon Bay, in the San Francisco area; it was a wonderful weekend, full of beautiful places and locations to shoot.

Even though their backgrounds are very different -Tannia is from Ecuador and Myron from Vietnam- their professions placed them on the same path at the right time, and since then, they have enjoy been together. Fortunately, I capture, their chemistry, personalities, and love for each other during that weekend on the West coast.

When the time came, Tannia + Myron said “I do” at the Exotic Paradisus Punta Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic. http://www.paradisuspuntacanahotel.com/index.asp    The venue was gorgeous, and the bride’s vision came together beautifully with the help of  www.destinationweddings.com

This wedding was a labor of love, not just for the couple, but for everyone who participated in it. Their families and friends not only came from far away to the wedding, but they were an active part of the logistic of the wedding. I was so glad to be part of Tannia and Myron’s big day. I had an amazing time in Punta Cana, and being on this fantastic journey for the week reminded me of why I love Destination Weddings so much! I met a lot of great and beautiful people, and I experienced Punta Cana to the fullest!!!! The locals were very sweet and welcoming; everywhere I went I found a big and honest smile.

A beautiful Vietnamese tea ritual was part of the events; the bride and groom were dressed in colorful and traditional Vietnamese outfits. The Catholic ceremony was held on the beach, the scenery could not be perfect for this lovely union. For the “trashing the dress session”, Tannia and Myron jumped in with the idea of shooting it in a Dominican cave! The adventure was even more spectacular since we were more than 20 people, between family and friends, riding a Buggy and driving thru little towns in Punta Cana!

Here are some pictures of this great journey…
